#1 Fruit Salad: Ant Apocalypse
Anxious to get to his brother, he brushed everything on the floor by his desk where the sword from his play laid. He kicked the pile, causing the wooden stage prop to hit something metal. Recognizing the sound of the clink, Macintosh stooped down and scooped up the items.
With the flashlight in hand, Macintosh sprinted out of his room and down the hall to the living room. He pushed Jake behind him and held up his wooden sword. As he stood behind his tall and lanky brother, Jake noticed the sword quivered in his brother's hand. He pressed into Macintosh and held tight to his leg, burying his face into his brother's tattered jeans. Then he heard it, a loud boom and bang as the door flew open and smacked the wall of the apartment. Jake, clinging tightly to his brother, braced for the attack.
